Barbara Watkins

Barbara Watkins was born on October 6th 1959 at the Missouri
Delta Hospital in Sikeston Missouri to Jackie Dean and Betty Lucille
White. She attended Sikeston High School where she met and
would later marry her childhood sweetheart Jim Watkins. Wasting
no time, they started a family.

Writing in the genre of supernatural/psychological thrillers’ she
loves to evoke a sense of terror and fright like no other for her
readers. In 2005 her novella, ‘Behind the Red Door’ caught the
attention of Escape Artists Studio, and in return they requested the
manuscript for review. Her dream is to one day see her work
adapted to film. Currently she is working on yet another
psychological thriller and promises her readers won’t be
disappointed.

My short story collection entitled, 'Nightmares & Daydreams' is now
available in-print and e-book form from Mythica Publishing through
Amazon. My novella's 'Behind the Red Door' and 'Thorns of an
Innocent Soul' are now available in hardback edition. My short
story, 'Mortal Abomination' will appear in an anthology from Mythica
Publishing entitled, 'Another Time Another Place' soon to be
released. My article, 'A Testament To Poet's' is available in-print
from Cold Coffee Magazine web site.

By  Michelle A. Cox-lomas "Michelle A. Cox-Lomas" (New Boston, Michigan) -
Nightmares and Daydreams held me captivated from cover to cover.
Suspenseful, mysterious, and enlightening - this excellent book is a page turner
that held my complete attention. Word after word, page after page, I was pulled
into each and every story with the desire to see what happens next. I would
certainly say that Barbara Watkins ranks up there as being one of my all time
favorite writers. I love Alfred Hitchcock and Anne Rice too. If you've ever read
one of their novels you will certainly also enjoy anything that Barbara Watkins
has written as well. Good Job Barbara - keep up the good work. I'm looking
forward to reading more of your excellent writing in the near future. I rate this
particular book with 5 stars A+ for sure! This is a book that I will read again and
again. If you haven't read this book yet - get yourself a copy today. If you have
friends who enjoy mysteries, ghost stories, and suspense - pick up a few copies
today - they will definitely thank you for it!--Click on the photo of Michelle to visit
