***In March of 2007, a group of skaters asked the Town Council in Barbara's
hometown of Sikeston, Missouri for a skate park. In July of 2007, Cindy Taylor
started a nonprofit organization, Sikeston Action Sports, Inc and formed a
committee called The Sikeston Skate Committee.  She arranged for all of the youth
to come together and work at fundraiser events to raise money. Many hours of
planning, organizing, and preparing for the Skatepark have taken place since then.
So far, they have accumulated $22,637.79 in donations, but still they have a long way
